    Build a listing that converts

Turn a product page into a sales page, with a title, images, bullets and A+ content that win the click and the order.

Ads and ranking bring shoppers to your page. The listing decides whether they buy. Every rupee of ad spend works harder on a page that converts, so fix the listing before you scale traffic.

    The title

Amazon caps most titles at 200 characters, blocks special characters such as ! $ ? _ { } and ^, and doesn’t allow the same word more than twice. Shoppers on mobile see only the start of a title, so put what matters in the first 80 characters.

Title formula: brand, product type, the benefit that sells, key attributes, size or count.
Title formula: brand, product type, the benefit that sells, key attributes, size or count.

    Weak title vs strong title

    Example title
WeakBest Face Wash For Men Women Oily Skin Face Wash Natural Face Wash 100ml Pack
StrongAurelle Vitamin C Face Wash for Oily Skin | Brightening, Oil Control, Gentle Daily Cleanser | 100 ml

Aurelle is an illustrative brand name.

    The seven-image stack

Your main image earns the click in search results. Images two to seven close the sale on the product page. Plan them as one argument, where each image answers a question a shopper would otherwise leave to find out.

The seven-image stack. One job per image.

    What each image does

    ImageJobWhat to show
1 · MainWin the clickThe product alone on a pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255), filling about 85% of the frame. No text, props or badges.
2 · Hero benefitSay why it’s differentThe single biggest benefit in five words or fewer, next to the product.
3 · How it worksRemove doubtKey ingredients, materials or mechanism, simply labelled.
4 · In useHelp them picture itA real person using it in a recognisable Indian home setting.
5 · ProofBuild trustCertifications or test results you can substantiate.
6 · Size and contentsPrevent returnsDimensions next to a familiar object, and everything in the box.
7 · Compare or bundleLift order valueHow your variants or bundle compare, or why yours beats the generic option.

    Bullets

    • Lead with the outcome, then the proof. “Leaves skin clean without tightness” sells better than “Contains glycerin” unless you explain what glycerin does.
    • One idea per bullet, five bullets in total. Order them by what matters most to the buyer.
    • Answer the top return reasons. Read competitors’ one- and three-star reviews and address each complaint directly.
    • Write for people. Use the words shoppers search for, once, where they read naturally.

    A+ content

A+ content adds rich images and comparison modules below the fold, and it requires Brand Registry. Use it to tell the brand story, show a comparison chart across your range, and reinforce the benefits your images introduced.

    Listing audit

    • Title under 200 characters, brand first, benefit in the first 80 characters
    • No word repeated more than twice, no blocked special characters
    • Main image on pure white, product filling about 85% of the frame
    • Seven images, each with one job
    • Five benefit-led bullets that answer the top return reasons
    • A+ content live with a comparison module
    • Backend search terms filled with synonyms not already in the title
    • Price checked against the nearest fee band edge
